  • Quiet acreage with a large organic veggie garden and a greenhouse housing tomatoes and peppers. An organic orchard with 25 fruit and nut trees: apples, pears, plums, walnuts, hazelnuts! And of course, there's the flower beds! A profusion of flowers starting in February and marching through the fall! There's numerous private seating areas tucked away amidst the gardens for you to enjoy.

  • Central location, 1 kilometer to Seaside Comox and all it has to offer. Shopping, restaurants, marinas of pleasure craft and commercial fishing vessels, golf courses and tennis courts. Comox Rec Centre is close, offering a fitness gym .
  • Surrounded by beaches and parks for long walks or exploring tidal pools. Do you know we have a maximum 17' tide change?
  • Just steps from our door is a 20 acre wooded, waterfront park, Macdonald Wood. Loaded with walking trails amidst towering trees, Native middens, eagle nests and the well worn path to the pubs! We are also close by to Goose Spit Marine park with miles of beach to walk.

    ROOM RATES
  • A private entrance leads to your room.
  • "Bearly There" has a queen bed with private bath, cable TV, and of course lots of bears to keep your company.
  • The rate for single occupancy is $60 CAD.
  • The rate for double occupancy is $70 CAD.
  • The two bedroom suite: The first room is large with a queen size bed, a wood stove, cable TV and a spacious seating area. Off of that room is a smaller room with a double bed. A full bath adjoins these two rooms, allowing privacy and quiet when your children are asleep (if you brought any).
  • Our two bedroom suite comfortably accommodates 2 people at $85 CAD.
    It can delightfully accommodate up to Four people for $15 CAD per extra person.
  • Accepted Payment Methods: Cash, Travelers cheques VISA or mastercard.gif - 649 Bytes (no taxes).
    MEALS
  • A full, luscious breakfast is included.
  • Served in our dining room which offers garden, ocean and mountain views.
  • Special meals available: Low Fat,
    Restricted or Vegetarian.
  • Our signature dish is Souffle. Served with rich, dark, west coast coffee.
  • We serve fresh organic fruits and vegetables from our gardens when in season! Yum!

    POLICIES
  • No Smoking on premises.
  • We do not accommodate pets.
  • Consumption of alcohol is permitted (with moderation, please).
  • Credit card number will secure your reservation.
  • Open all year!
  • Croteau Beach is a beautiful spot to visit any time of year! The locals are fond of saying:
    "ski up the mountain all day and afterward come down for a walk on the beach!"
  • No minimum stay required with the exception of
    the first weekend in August (5 night minimum).
    the July Music Fest (3 night minimum)
  • Check In time is 4 PM and Check Out time is 11 AM.
  • Cancellation Policy: 7 day notice is required for a full refund.
